If you searched for the best interior design companies in Kenya or the top interior designers, use this shortlist to compare the work each firm publicly shows. A polished claim is not the same as evidence that a team has handled your kind of project.
How I selected these firms: each had a public interior design service page and portfolio on 8 November 2026. I arranged the ten firms alphabetically. This is a non-exhaustive shortlist, not a quality ranking or confirmation of registration, IDAK membership, licensing or current availability. Portfolio claims come from each firm's own website.
IDAK is the professional association, not an interior design company. If you specifically want an IDAK member, check the current IDAK designer directory and the verification information shown on each profile. Inclusion below does not mean a firm is IDAK-verified.

How to choose the right firm for your project
Choose by project fit rather than a blanket “best” label. Shortlist firms whose public portfolios show work close to your property type, size and delivery needs. Then compare proposals using the same brief.
- Ask what the fee includes: concept, measured survey, drawings, specifications, sourcing, site visits or fit-out management.
- Identify who signs the contract, appoints contractors, approves substitutions and handles variations.
- Request a written scope, timetable, payment stages, exclusions and handover responsibilities.
- Ask for references from recent clients with a comparable project and permission to view completed work.
- Check professional membership or other credentials directly with the issuing organisation; a portfolio link alone does not verify them.
Is this a ranked “top 10 interior designers in Kenya” list? No. The firms appear alphabetically because public portfolio pages do not provide a fair basis for ranking their quality. This page helps you compare options; it does not certify a firm or guarantee its current availability.
