Keeping membership and profile information current helps avoid confusion when your renewal date approaches. Use your IDAK account to check the plan and status shown for your membership, then follow the renewal instructions presented there. Confirm the current renewal amount on the official Membership page; do not rely on an old receipt or saved screenshot.
Check your status and renewal date
Sign in to the IDAK account and open the Membership area. Review the category attached to the account, the membership status, and any expiry or renewal information shown. If a detail looks wrong, contact the membership secretariat before making a payment.
Follow the current payment steps
Use only the payment method and instructions displayed by IDAK in the account or on its official pages. Keep the transaction reference and confirmation. After payment, return to the account and check whether the status has updated. If it has not, share the payment reference with IDAK through its official contact channel rather than paying again without checking.
Refresh your public information
Renewal is a good time to update your phone, location, biography, practice focus, website, and service details. Remove an old link, correct a changed studio name, and add current portfolio examples that you have permission to share. Accurate information makes it easier for clients and collaborators to understand your current work.
Use the account's Portfolio area to manage project entries. New work may require IDAK review before it appears publicly. For guidance, see how to post a portfolio on IDAK and how to update your directory profile.
Ask for help early
If your account does not show a renewal option, your payment status is unclear, or your profile needs correction, contact IDAK using the current details on the official Contact page. Include your member name and account email, but never send a password or payment PIN.
Renewal checklist
- Check the membership category, status, and expiry information in your account.
- Confirm the live renewal amount and payment route with IDAK.
- Save the transaction reference and wait for the account status to update.
- Refresh your biography, location, services, and portfolio examples.
- Contact the secretariat if a payment is pending or the renewal option is missing.
If you have changed from student to graduate, started a studio, or moved into a different practice area, ask IDAK whether your category or profile should be updated. Do not open a second account to work around a status issue; ask the association to help resolve the existing record.
New applicants can follow the IDAK joining guide and check the latest membership categories and terms.
