The Interior Design Association of Kenya (IDAK) operates on a financial year that runs from January to December of the current year. As an IDAK member, it’s important to be aware of our membership renewal policy to ensure a seamless continuation of your membership benefits.

Membership with IDAK is automatically renewed each year unless we receive a written resignation from you. According to our policy, written resignation should be submitted to IDAK at least 3 months before the start of the next financial year. This allows us to process the resignation and update our records accordingly.

To ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted access to IDAK benefits, we encourage our members to review their membership status and consider renewing their membership in a timely manner. By doing so, you can continue to enjoy the full range of exclusive resources, networking opportunities, educational programs, and industry recognition that IDAK offers.

If you decide not to renew your membership, we kindly request that you submit your written resignation within the specified timeframe. This allows us to update our records and maintain accurate membership information.

To define EXCELLENCE in the practice of interior design; to improve the VALUE of the Profession; to create a favorable ENVIRONMENT to practice Interior Design; to increase MEMBERSHIP, to provide opportunity to share KNOWLEDGE through community so as to promote interior design as a profession that supports health, safety, and welfare to the general public.

To join IDAK applicants must meet the minimum requirements of qualifi cation asestablished by the regulations thereof.
